It is an attempt to reveal the mutual influence of cultures at the linguistic level with the help of some examples taken from journalistic texts, namely, from the magazine known as “Deutschland”. The last part of the article is devoted to the study of the intercultural concept as a part of the DaF-lessons (German as a foreign language).
