dc.description.abstractThe article examines the role of empathy and tolerance in the development of teachers’ intercultural competence. Empathy is interpreted as an emotional-cognitive mechanism enabling teachers to understand the perspectives of others, while tolerance provides the behavioral foundation for accepting cultural diversity without prejudice. The study argues that the integration of empathy and tolerance into teacher training and professional practice ensures the creation of inclusive educational environments and contributes to the professional identity of teachers in multicultural societies.en
