Abstract

The gastronomical lexicon is a definitive element in describing the way of thinking of an ethnicity. Exactly like in any other case, the gastronomical concept of the Romanian people is strongly related to their moral element and national specificity. The proverbs which belong to the gastronomical semantic field are numerous and of a big variety, enriching the treasury of the Romanian Language.
