| dc.description.abstract | The democratic transformations initiated in the last decade of the last century, which marked the transition of our society from a totalitarian political regime to one based on law and democratic values, inevitably imposed a new reaffirmation of the principle of legality in the life of society and the activity of the state. Undeniably, the principle in question was a central one for the functioning of power in the former Soviet regime, however, with its ruin and the initiation of the building of a new state, the reconceptualization of legality and its adjustment to the new democratic realities was necessary. | |
