dc.description.abstract	The article presents some impressions on the Nobel Prize-winning book „Der Fuchs war damals schon der Jäger” by Herta Müller. The novel, which is read as if it were a film, depicts the period of the communist regime in Romania – the country where the author was born and lived until 1987, when she emigrated to FRG. The book , and especially the main character ,have evident autobiographical traits.	en
