Abstract
Achievements in the field of music education in the Republic of Moldova during the last decades have evolved dynamically. The Department of Arts and Art Education of the Faculty of Education Sciences, Psychology and Arts, - Alecu Russo‖ State University of Bălţi is a true center of culture, science and art education. The scientific and artistic creation research carried out within the department is the foundation for the conceptualization and development of the educational -artistic field in the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the consolidation of the teaching and scientific community around the values of artistic education.
