Abstract

This article focuses on the study of new texts in the methodology of teaching foreign languages. These are multimodal texts that meet the new social demands and educational needs of a new generation of students. In this context, multimodal texts include verbal and non-verbal components, the interaction of which creates a single common meaning. Special attention is paid to the study of the definitions of a multimodal text, its structure and ways of using it a foreign language class.
