| dc.description.abstract | The field of study of the research is the psychological intervention in the crisis given by violence against women, namely the overcoming of difficult situations. This paper highlights posttraumatic stress disorder, which considers to be one of the most intense traumatic experiences that a person can live as a result of domestic abuse. The investigation demonstrates the presence and role of pre-traumatic factors, which took place before the event and the link between the current crisis and some crises of the past, how they affect the woman's situation. And identifying the possibilities of adaptation of the victim woman to the new situation, through changing thoughts and subsequently behaviors, leads to the improvement of the mental state and the normalization of emotions, in order to prevent the evolution to posttraumatic stress. | en |
