Abstract
This material has as its object the lexico-semantic field of the space. Being one of the most important fragments of the etnolingual image, it reflects the way of life, the traditions and the peculiarities of the national culture. The reconstruction of the semantic lexico field of space would allow the revelation of the way space is perceived in the mind of the Romans.
