Abstract
This article is dedicated to the memory of the teacher, Master of Art, L. V. Vaverco (1927-2020) - one of the most notorious teachers of the Republic of Moldova, who made a huge contribution not only to the formation and development of the national piano school, but also to the creation of traditions of local interpretation. In addition to approving the concerts of composers from the Republic of Moldova, Ludmila Vaverco helped publish many songs by local authors, working as a compiler and editor of national music collections. Also important is the pedagogical aspect of popularization by L. V. Vaverco of the piano work of composers from the Republic of Moldova. She introduced the works of local authors as teaching material together with the students of her class and also used them when she led the Special Piano Department of the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts between 1993-2002.
