| dc.description.abstract | Due to high levels of poverty, Moldova loses a lot of its citizens who decide to emigrate in search for a better life abroad. The young population leaves the villages in the pursuit of better living conditions in cities. Some of villages have become depopulated, while others have a small number of residents or a gradually declining population. The growing urban population has led to increased traffic, congestion, and pollution. A way to address these issues is to utilize foreign resources to improve the operational urban system and transform them into smart cities. | en |
