Abstract
This article presents the results of scientific research on the gender and age structure of the Drochia district population. When carrying out this study, certain indicators were determined, namely: the masculinity index, the feminization index, the structure by age groups of the population. Also, a number of research methods were used, among which we note: the bibliographic study, the processing of statistical data (taken from the National Bureau of Statistics and the Statistics Section of the Drochia district); analysis and synthesis, used to analyze the indices obtained in the research carried out.
