Therefore, any opportunity to cooperate with international organizations to support local business is welcome. The country is blessed with enthusiastic entrepreneurs and workers, and national si international donars si has already offered numerous resources and opportunities to SMEs in the Republic of Moldova. The SMEs, also called, the backbone of the economy”, plays an important role in the development of a national economy. In the Republic of Moldova the sector has emerged as a result of the transition from centrally planned to market economy in the late 80s.
