Abstract
This article underlines that the technology for preparing hard drinks, especially cognac, requires a permanent modernization. An important machine is the one for producing the color for cognac, as it gives the drink a visual appearance that meets all standards. The structure of the installation can be modified by changing the actuation mechanism and by changing the insulation layer, from mineral wool to basalt wool. These changes lead to an increase in the economic and technological efficiency of the production process and, thus, increase the company's profit.
