Abstract
Knowing the geographical environment of which we are part is one of the basic steps towards creating a healthy and responsible attitude towards nature. This paper represents the characteristic of Glodeni district from the perspective of physical-geographical aspects. The study reflects the geographical position, the administrative-territorial organization, the paleogeographic, geological and geomorphological peculiarities, the natural resources and the climate of the region. Knowing the natural environment creates the possibility of rational capitalization of natural resources, and sustainable development of human-nature relations.
