Abstract

Modern syntax researches the structure of sentences in general, mainly paying attention to their complex character. The syntactic structure of the sentence is determined by the grammatical properties of its lexemes, first of all by their selective traits.The present article touches upon such notions as valence, actants, reproach and the actantial structure of the speech act of reproach in Russian, in terms of obligatory and facultative actants.
