Abstract

The article analyses the legislation concerning the activity of commercial banks, as well as their termination. The article analyses the notion of ‘bank’, examines what responsibilities a banking institution has, analyses the ways of liquidation of commercial banks, the procedure and their peculiarities. The article analyses the role and specificity of the National Bank of Moldova.
