dc.description.abstractThe present article is based on the thesis emphasizing the significance of the Slavic pagan mentality, elements of the pagan worldview and folk demonology in the poetics of Guzel Yakhina`s novel – ”Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes”. The analysis reveals the levels of poetics specifying the elements of the pagan code, presenting their content and determining their artistic role.en_US
