Abstract
The article sets the goal to identify the most relevant training needs for continuous training and professional development of teachers working with children with disabilities, aged from 3 to 11 years. It analyzes the perceptions and attitudes of teachers in preschool and primary grades towards the issue of inclusive education; there has been identified the level of knowledge regarding the specifics of inclusive education, the specific methods and techniques as well as the proposed content of a training program to provide training skills for educating children with special educational needs.
