Abstract
The article proposes a generalized model for students ’ competence development within the educational process that was designed as an alternating process of learning situations. Wehad described the competence development process that involves four stages: exploration, structuring, integration and adaptation to new situations. Competence training stages are correlated with the axes of learning from the experiential learning model, proposed by D. Kolb.
