dc.description.abstractThis article presents the individual personality characteristics of a junior high school student, which are the object of work on the formation of oral numeracy skills. The introduction highlights the main points of the need to develop oral numeracy skills in younger schoolchildren, using the example of the curriculum of primary education. The main characteristics of the computational skill are considered, the possession of which determines the level of the student's numeracy culture. Methods have been selected aimed at activating mental activity, the ability to perceive what is said by ear, to develop the child's wit and logical thinking.en
