    Mişcarea naturală a populaţiei Raionului Edineţ [Articol]

    This scientific article contains the results of the scientific research refered to the natural movement of the population from Edineţ district. The statistical database with reference to the indicators of the natural movement of the population was taken from the National Bureau of Statistics, the Edineţ Statistics Section and the Civil Status Service of the Edineţ district. In carrying out this study, various investigation methods were used: the bibliographic study method; statistical-mathematical method; cartographic method etc. In this study, the main indices of natural population movement were determined: the birth rate (‰), the mortality rate (‰) and the natural demographic balance (‰).

    This scientific article contains information about the geodemogra-phic situation in the Republic of Moldova in the context of demographic aging. This research included analysis of the main demographic indicators of population aging. The topicality of this study is determined by the fact that demographic aging generates a series of consequences in demographic, economic, social and cultural aspects.
