    Elements of adaptive learning for developing professional competencies at future engineers

    Developing professional competencies to future engineers is essential for their integration into professional life. The process of developing professional compentencies is influenced by several internal and external factors. Internal factors are determined by the learning needs of student, their level of knowledges and so on. External factors are the requirements of society, employers, etc. Usually in designing and developing competencies, teachers are focused on external factors, and less attention they paid to internal factors. However, the knowledge of internal factors allows to identify the elements that make possible an adaptive learning. The basic idea of adaptive learning is to orientate learning to the personality of the learner, to his / her interests and performance. The major advantage of adaptive learning is that students have the opportunity to develop their professional competencies according to their own learning path.

    Importanța feedback-ului în cursurile electronice [Articol]

    Feedback is a powerful interventional learning tool available for teachers. Knowledge of feedback’s characteristics allows course authors to integrate it in online courses. The authors of electronic courses should be taught to give feedback, to take into consideration that feedback is provided in the digital environment, to know its types and characteristics. Feedback allows to manage, control and motivate trainers and may be the key to success, especially in digital environment.

    Lucrarea este rezultatul cercetărilor realizate în cadrul proiectului instituțional de cercetare 15.817.06.27A Dirijarea formării competențelor profesionale în cadrul studiilor universitare prin organizarea unui proces de instruire adaptivă (PROFADAPT). Pe lângă descrierea modelelor teoretice, monografia supusă atenției cititorilor conține exemple concrete de sarcini didactice orientate spre dezvoltarea competențelor profesionale, care pot fi preluate și adaptate la particularitățile studenților de la specialitățile respective ale altor universități din țară. Monografia este adresată, în primul rând, cadrelor didactice universitare. Poate fi utilă studenților de la ciclurile II și III a specializărilor didactice.

    Selectarea conţinuturilor informaticii şcolare şi schema generală de studiere a disciplinelor informatice [Articol]

    In selecting the content of computer studies, the program notions are forced to balance between the fundamental aspects of computer science and its tools that evolve quickly. We have discussed the effects of an erroneous conception of computer studies content. In communication, a methodological formula is proposed in order to teach any computing disciplines: informational process  informational models  informational technologies. There are formulated five informational principles that serve as the basis for changes in the formula above.

    Articolul conţine o schemă generală de predare-învăţare a informaticii, atât la facultate (discipline de specialitate), cât şi în şcoală (informatica şcolară). Pentru realizarea acestei scheme generale a fost aleasă strategia învăţării prin proiecte. O analiză a aspectelor strategiei menţionate şi două experimente pedagogice au permis de a concretiza demersul didactic de realizare a schemei generale de predare-învăţare.
