    The development of a system of qualitative social services, intervention that effectively and operatively corresponds to the needs of people with Intellectual Disability status, ensuring their rights and for their social inclusion, is one of the priority areas for the Republic of Moldova. But the current offer of social services available at the local level does not cover the needs and fails to respond usefully to the increasing vulnerability of people with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, including in districts that have developed a wide variety of services, is the area that requires a lot of investment, be it skilled human resources or financial resources. The purpose of social assistance granted to people with Intellectual Disability status and their families, is to plan social services that respond to the needs of this group of beneficiaries, to empower these beneficiaries and to support them, so that they can provide a safe and favorable care environment.

    Implicarea asistentului social în diminuarea devianţei şcolare [Articol]

    The involvement of the social worker in reducing school deviance. School deviance represents a complex and persistent problem in the education system, with significant repercussions on students' academic success and the overall school climate. The author addresses the involvement of the community social worker in reducing school deviance. The empirical study was conducted in Drochia, and it is both descriptive and analytical when it comes to the ways in which the social worker is involved in minimizing various forms of school deviance. The recommendations derived from the analysis of the collected data can contribute to strengthening intersectoral collaboration aimed at creating a healthy and inclusive school environment.

    The problem of juvenile delinquency represents a constant challenge of contemporary societies, especially due to the complexity of the phenomenon, the multiple causes and factors that generate it, but also its serious negative effects, both in the short, medium and long term at the level of individuals, families and society as a whole. Along with other social actors, the social worker carries out multiple actions aimed at reducing juvenile delinquency. Identifying the causes and factors favoring this behavior, as well as the appropriate intervention aimed at neutralizing them, in conjunction with prevention and resocialization actions, can ensure that this undesirable behavior is kept under control.

    Strategii proactive şi intervenţii ale asistentului social comunitar în prevenirea şi combaterea violenţei: o abordare multidimensională şi integrată [Articol]

    Violence against women is a serious violation of human rights and a consequence of gender inequality in the Republic of Moldova. In this article, we will address the relevance and severity of the issue, referring to national statistics. We will then proceed to address the issue at the local level in Glodeni district, analyzing statistical data regarding incidents of domestic violence. We will mention the unique role of the community social worker in preventing this phenomenon, while also providing best practices. Similarly, they will address the major role of multidisciplinary teams in the field and the intersectoral cooperation mechanism aimed at ensuring the protection, safety, and realization of the rights of domestic violence victims.
