    Banks cannot completely avoid credit risk and the emergence of nonperforming loans, but that risk can be limited through various prudential and prophylactic measures. However, all financial institutions must be prepared for an unexpected aggravation of the situation. Every bank needs to have qualified staff and effective methods and strategies to reduce non-performing loans portfolio.
