Item Câmpul idiomatic „limbuție” în limba română [Articol](USARB, 2016) Lacusta, ElenaThe present article aims the idiomatic field of „chatter” in the Romanian Language, formulating its conceptual metaphor in the Romanian mentality. The idiomatic fields with which it partially overlaps (prattle, gossip, slander, indiscretion, lie etc) are identified. Also, the idiomatic classes that serve as tools for building the image are presented (mouth, tongue, mill, beater, drum etc.)Item Conceptele „prost” și „prostie” în mentalul românesc (în baza unităților frazeologice) [Articol](USARB, 2016) Lacusta, ElenaThe article presents the concepts “stupid” and “stupidity” in Romanian mentality. The arguments are illustrated with phraseological units, including proverbs and sayings. Also, the ideas are supported by some archetypes of this conceptual category from other folklore products: fairy tales, anecdotes, stories. It demonstrates the division of this conceptual sphere into two categories, depending on the manifestation of the intensity of this feature: absolute and relative (or, in other terms, monovalent and bivalent). Both categories are developed in phraseology. In order to prove that the area of significance in mentality of the lexeme “stupid” is much more extensive than the area of lexical significance, semantic plethora exclusively phraseological of this phraseological unit component is presented. The conclusions drawn are related to the Romanian people attitude towards this category of people (he is tolerant and finds contextual justification, is not avoided and cohabitation solutions are found).Item Creaţia populară - sursă a imagologiei unei comunităţi (Studiu în baza proverbelor ce conţin somatizmul NAS)(USARB, 2014) Lacusta, ElenaIn a paradigm of somatic symbolism valorized by the Romanian proverbs, the somatism „nose” receives semantic nuances foreign of its meaning in the dictionary. It describes, names and appreciates aspects of relationships person - person in terms of cohabitation. Thus the nose symbolizes and marks its holder status, behaviour, pride, shame, etc. The same somatism names metonymically a specific holder of the nose and a very personal part of him.Item Despre tabloul religios al românilor (în baza experimentului asociativ şi a unităţilor frazeologice) [Articol](USARB, 2012) Lacusta, ElenaThe present article reveals some aspects related to the delineation of the Christian religious world view in phraseology and in associations of words. It proves by examples that phraseological units desecrate this aspect of life until persiflage. The associations of words does not extend beyond the solemn field of the religion. It is a proof of the symbolic value that the basic concepts in the field have and which update their primary value out of context. Item Educarea copiilor cu nevoi speciale – o chestiune de mental românesc (studiu în baza frazeologiei) [Articol](USARB, 2016) Lacusta, Elena; Bejan, AngelaThe article proves that the education of children with special needs must be approached in the teaching process as a human universality. The deficiencies that characterizes them do not deny their human nature and, respectively, the application of the same educational principles. The care and the education (identical definitions in mind) of children with special needs to be pursued in terms of attitude and vision of Romanian community towards the general educational process. Thus, essentially addressing the problem of educating children with special needs should start with the identification of certain educational principles accepted by the entire community. These principles can be drown from phraseological units, as collective results containing Romanian vision towards the world in general and towards education in particular.Item Imaginea preotului în mentalul românesc: între defecte şi calităţi [Articol](USARB, 2016) Lacusta, ElenaThe article describes the image of the priest under fixed structures of the Romanian language. Double approach proves existence of this reality in the life of Romanians. One – marked positive – reflected purely religious contexts. Another one – marked negatively reflected in the popular mind (proverbs, anecdotes, legends). This way, the Romanian language selects two terms to designate servant church – priest and clergyman – the last being ridiculed and exploited to the full picture and seem popular narrative. Popa is characterized more negative traits – is immoral, cunning thief, bad (illiterate), drunkard, liar, ruthless with his subjects, charlatan, hypocrite, businessman, greedy etc. This dual aspect of the priest's image is proven by Romanian community and associative experiment, where the stimulus clergyman were selected equally marked positive and negative reactions.Item Metafore antropometrice în limba română [Articol](USARB, 2020) Lacusta, ElenaThe article presents the anthropometric principle in designating and knowing the reality. Two perspectives of the metaphorical transfer based on the anthropometric principle are proposed: from the human to the extrahuman field and vice versa. It is illustrated with elements of (folk) metrology where somatisms with proper meaning function as units of measurement (foot, palm, toe etc.); the metaphorical meanings from dictionaries are presented and the existence of an anthropometric somatic symbolism in phraseological contexts is demonstrated.Item Premise ale universalităţii frazeologismelor somatice(USARB, 2010) Lacusta, ElenaThe paper points out the universality of somatic phraseologisms as a result of a few extralinguistic factors: anthropocentrism of the view on the world reflected in language anthropocentrism; similitude of some life experience related to one`s body that leads to a common typology of constituting an image and to establishing some symbolic values similar to those of somatisms; similitude of gesture language described and fixed in somaticphraseologisms. The study is conducted on the basis of somatic phraseologisms in Romanian and Russian.Item Tabloului lingvistic al unei comunităţi: între cunoaştere şi creaţie(USARB, 2014) Lacusta, ElenaLanguage is created by man depending on his specific way of seeing the world. However, the language gives to the man a certain picture of the world, thus orienting his cognition process. The present article proposes two ways of setting up this picture, based on two complementary relations: man - language - reality (world) and man - reality (world) - language. Those relations are recognized in the words and the configuration of semantic fields, in the possibility of combining the units in the act of speech, in the expressive marked words, phraseological units as well as in the associative relations between words that speakers do.
