    Abordarea textului multimodal la orele de limbi străine [Articol]

    This article focuses on the study of new texts in the methodology of teaching foreign languages. These are multimodal texts that meet the new social demands and educational needs of a new generation of students. In this context, multimodal texts include verbal and non-verbal components, the interaction of which creates a single common meaning. Special attention is paid to the study of the definitions of a multimodal text, its structure and ways of using it a foreign language class.

    O viziune despre semiotica textului german: abordare didactică [Articol]

    Acest articol explorează semiotica textului ca obiect de cercetare al semioticii, orien-tată spre pătrunderea mai adâncă a sensului unei opere literare şi comentariul ei lingvistic, cât şi al criteriilor de structurare intratextuală (lexico-gramaticale şi semantico-stilistice). În acest sens, sunt prezentate aspectele abordării semiotice ale analizei lingvistice a textelor literare în cadrul cursului „Semiotica textului german”. This article explores the semiotics of the text as a research object of semiotics, oriented towards the deeper penetration of the meaning of a literary work and its linguistic commentary, as well as the criteria of intratextual structuring (lexical-grammatical and semantic-stylistic). In this sense, the aspects of the semiotic approach to the linguistic analysis of literary texts are presented in the course "Semiotics of the German text".

    „Werbespotspezifische” Übungen im Handlungsorientierten Daf-unterricht [Articol]

    Acest articol explores posibile utilizări ale reclamelor de televiziune în lecţiile de germană ca limbă străină orientate spre acţiune, care se bazează pe interacţiunea elementelor imagine, text/limbă, muzică şi culoare şi pot fi realizate în trei faze: înainte de vizionare (acordare şi relief preliminar), în timpul vizionării (prezentarea reclamei) şi după vizionare (orientare către acţiune şi discuţie în clasă). În plus, potenţialul didactic al reclamelor este derivat din criteriile de selecţie ale acestora, care pot fi împărţite şi clasificate în trei aspecte: aspectul didactic general, aspectul informaţional şi aspectul intercultural. This article explorează possible uses of television commercials in action-oriented German as a foreign language lessons, which are based on the interaction of the elements image, text/language, music and color and can be carried out in three phases: before viewing (attunement and preliminary relief), during viewing (presentation of the commercial) and after seeing (action orientation and class discussion). Furthermore, the didactic potential of the commercials is derived from their selection criteria, which can be divided and classified under three aspects: the general didactic aspect, the information aspect and the intercultural aspect.

    Werkzeuge zur Arbeit an literarischer Gattung Kurzgeschichte (am Beispiel der modernen Kurzgeschichte von Julia Franck „Die Streuselschnecke”) [Aticol]

    This article illustrates the tools for working on the literary genre of short stories using the example of the modern short story by Julia Franck “Die Streuselschnecke”. The created didactic proposal takes into account the work phases (introductory phase, development phase and follow-up phase) as well as the reading strategies relevant to each work phase (orientation reading, global reading, selective reading and detailed reading) and realizes the desired end goals of the work on the respective literary genre: connects to the students' personal, age- and culture-specific interests, needs, experiences and knowledge of the world; transmits educational and aesthetic values; shows relevant linguistic or content appropriateness (degree of difficulty).

In this regard, two well-known international studies of student reading literacy are carried out, PIRLS and PISA, and the 3-phase model for promoting text literacy by S. Schmölzer-Eibinger.

    The aim of this article is the theoretical study of reading strategies of the foreign text for the development of the ability of the trainees to have a deeper understanding of the textual content and obtaining necessary information from it. The article examines different tasks and exercises which stimulate such development. In conclusion, the article demonstrates the functioning of the studied reading strategies on the examples of the didactic text.

    The present article deals with the concepts of interculturality and intercultural compe-tences. It is an attempt to reveal the mutual influence of cultures at the linguistic level with the help of some examples taken from journalistic texts, namely, from the magazine known as “Deutschland”. The last part of the article is devoted to the study of the intercultural concept as a part of the DaF-lessons (German as a foreign language). It is very important to use journalistic texts at such lessons, as they are a source for culture mediation.

    The modernization of the educational system reveals new challenges and opportunities in the process of teaching foreign languages at the university, setting new requirements for a modern teacher prone to constant updating and professional learning. Mini-lectures are an innovative method of organizing the learning process in general and of presenting the theoretical material in private. This article examines the relevance and essence of mini-lectures; it focuses on how they are worked out and implemented as a means of creative self-realization of the future philologists providing the grounds for their personal development.
