    Abordarea sustenabilităţii prin prisma obiectivelor de dezvoltare durabilă [Articol]

    The combination of the words ”sustainable development” has become a popular slogan in the discourse of contemporary development. However, despite its ubiquity and the massive popularity it has accumulated over the years, the concept remains to be partially researched. There are still many questions about its significance and history, as well as about what it implies in terms of sustainability from a theoretical and applied point of view. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the research of sustainability approaches in the light of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is achieved through an extensive analysis of the literature, combining the theoretical aspects of the subject studied with the practical dimensions, which are easier to measure. According to the ”Global Survey on Sustainability and the SDGs”, the main sustainability benchmarks are essentially anchored on distinct but interconnected three-dimensional pillars, namely the environment, the economy and society. Decision-makers must constantly pay attention to the relationships, complementarities and trade-offs between these pillars and ensure responsible human behavior at international, national and community level.

    Antreprenoriatul social: Provocarea afacerilor sustenabile [Articol]

    Although the concept of social entrepreneurship has been approached in economic theory and practice for several decades, nevertheless there are different acceptances of it. The given article presents a synthesis of theoretical approaches to social entrepreneurship and the characteristics of a social entrepreneur. Also, the article presents the legal framework of social enterprises in the Republic of Moldova, the main opportunities and constraints in this area. The main idea presented in the theoretical approach refers to the sustainable character of social affairs, with an impact on people, nature and the business sphere.

    This article analyzes the development of rural tourism as a factor for diversification of the rural economy. It reveals conditions and preconditions for the emergence of rural tourism, its promotion and development through multifunctionality concepts and diversification of agriculture. The article examines the history of emergence and development of rural tourism. Evolutionary models of tourism development and their applicability to the development of rural tourism are to be examined.

    The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the concept of national security and to propose a new approach to the study of security, which take into account, on the one hand, the complexity of this concept in relation to human potential, and on the other hand, the developments in the security environment at national and international level. The notion of national security is very actual in Republic of Moldova, particularly in the context of military operations in eastern Ukraine that began in 2014. National security of the Republic of Moldova is also affected by other factors, including: political instability, currency volatility, fluctuations on the foreign exchange market etc. Political and economic problems in the country have social repercussions, seriously affecting the living standards of the population.

    Human capital-value has a decisive role in the labor process. It ensures effective combination of other resources necessary for the creation of goods and services production and consumption. State investment to create a variety of specialists based on the actual needs of the labor market ensures, on the one hand, an activity area real after completing their studies and, on the other hand, an investment recovered by covering positions with professionally trained persons. Research in human capital aimed at both the concept itself, as well as the implications of human capital formation on labor market performance.

The article aims to develop a complex tool to facilitate the insertion of young people into the labor market, such as the Youth Guarantee and the creation of educational-occupational clusters. In its European path, the Republic of Moldova should analyze the good occupational practices of the EU Member States in terms of efficiency and applicability.

    Funcționarea pieței forței de muncă este condiționată de dezvoltarea economiei de piață, de calitatea forței de muncă, de clasamentul țării pe plan internațional. În anul 2019, conform raportului „The Global Talent Competitiveness Index”, realizat de şcolile de business Insead şi Adecco, Republica Moldova ocupa locul 86 într-un clasament al pregătirii şi atragerii de profesionişti pe piaţa muncii, din cele 132 de ţări incluse în cercetare.

    Valorificarea capitalului uman prin perfecţionarea procesului de integrare a specialistului cu studii superioare pe piaţa muncii [Articol]

    The high level of graduate unemployment, even though has been acknowledged as one of the most distinctive characteristics of the Moldavian labour market, has not attracted enough attention in the academic literature. This paper investigates how the employment situation of young graduates varies according to their field of study. The findings of this study highlight the need for drastic reforms of the higher education system and on the labour market. Labour market policies in the Republic of Moldova give high priority to prevention and reduction of unemployment among young people. This is reflected in the National Development Strategy for 2008-2011, the National Employment Strategy 2007-2015, the draft Strategy for Vocational Education and Training (2008-2015), the Labour Code, the National Youth Strategy (2009-2015) and the Law on Youth (adopted in 1999).
