    Colecţiile de reviste în biblioteca universitară (studiu bibliometric: 2005-2015) [Articol]

    The paper presents a bibliometric study on the development of magazine collections in SL USARB. The study includes statistical data on periodicals purchased in the period 2005-2015: subscriptions, donations and value. In the paper are also presented the answers of users, who participated in a survey regarding the quality and quantity of periodicals held in the collections of the library.

    Periodicele şi catalogarea lor cazul Bibliotecii Ştiinţifice Universitare [Articol]

    Periodicele fac parte din publicaţiile în serie, care reprezintă o importantă sursă de informare şi cunoaştere pentru toate categoriile de utilizatori. Nevoia continuă de ştiri, de informaţii în toate domeniile şi în lumea ştiinţifică a dus la dezvoltarea continuă a comunicării media şi a comunicării ştiinţifice. Colecţia Bibliotecii Ştiinţifice constituie 1 015 459 documente, dintre care 152 257 sînt periodice (aproximativ 15 % din volumul total de documente). La catalogarea publicaţiilor periodice sînt respectate regulile de catalogare naţionale şi internaţionale specifice acestui document.

    In a scientific institution the scientific process of periodical indexing is just as important as the monographic cataloging, indexing of documents. Reception, stocks registration, checking the doublets in the service catalogue, documentary distribution, the literature analysis are the main stages of the scientific process of periodical indexing. Automated bibliographic records is performed with the help of the programme TINLIB, the Module CataloguingRetrieval/Editing Serials Titles according to standards in force. Every quarter information is updated on the website of the library – COLLECTIONS/JOURNALS/PERIODICALS/newspapers-http:// libruniv. usb. md
