    Aspecte sociale ale prevenirii și combaterii violenței în familie [Articol]

    This article is dedicated to social approaches to preventing and combating domestic violence. The research presents the classification that has been elucidated in specialistic literature with reference to the three types of violence prevention: primary, secondary, and tertiary. Preventing and combating domestic violence is part of the national family protection and support policy and is an important public health issue. Thus, the prevention of domestic violence is a set of policies, measures and techniques that, outside the framework of criminal justice, aim at reducing the incidence of various types of aggressive behaviors that cause harm to the family and society, considered as illicit.

    Violenţa intrafamilială îşi are originea în structura socială, în tradiţii, obiceiuri şi mentalităţi, care subînţeleg superioritatea bărbatului asupra femeii. Societăţile moderne continuă să fie societăţi patriarhale, ce acordă mai multă importanţă muncii efectuate de bărbaţi decât celei efectuate de femei. Inegalităţile dintre femei şi bărbaţi se manifestă în legătură cu fragilizarea poziţiei femeilor pe piaţa muncii, cu creşterea diferenţelor între câştigurile salariale ale femeilor şi bărbaţilor. Feminizarea şomajului şi violenţei împotriva femeilor culminează cu violenţa în familie fiind forme acute de discriminare.

    The given article presents the problem of domestic violence where the woman may become the most frequent category of its victim. American research proves that women are the fist to become victims of domestic violence. Statistics demonstrate that to ten women roughly treated by their husbands corresponds one man maltreated by his wife. Domestic violence represents one of the most recent subjects of modern society among other ones like concern about violence display, dilemmas concerning the criminality extension and its reasons, strategies of prevention and struggle against such phenomena.

The violence against advanced in years persons represents a social issue of the modern societies. The violence against aged persons is a social problem which attention has been lately granted by researches from the field of social gerontology. In the last two decades the given problem has gradually become one of the major concerns for specialists in this field. They have comprehended that aged persons represent the most vulnerable age group towards different forms of aggression and violence displayed in a modern society.

    Integrarea socială a femeilor supuse violenţei în familie, beneficiare a serviciilor de asistenţă socială [Articol]

    The social integration of women subjected to domestic violence, beneficiaries of social assistance services, is a complex, sustainable and interdisciplinary process. During the pandemic period due to the lack of adequate social protection packages during emergency/pandemic situations, women are at greater risk of being affected by social and economic shocks related to the measures that are introduced to reduce the pandemic/crisis situation. However, the exploitation of digital technologies offered service providers opportunities to provide online specialized services to victims and during the pandemic period, such as psychological counseling and psychosocial support, legal counseling, information, but in any case it created impediments in the process of their social integration.

    Domestic violence is widespread in contemporary society, at the level of all social categories and deeply rooted, with serious effects on the health, quality of life and well-being of victims and their families. This scourge is not only a social and public health problem, but also a problem of non-respect and violation of human rights, its complexity requiring the active and direct intervention of the responsible national authorities, both in terms of providing support measures. protection of the personal integrity of victims, as well as the protection of their common social interests, such as the freedom and dignity of the person.

    Violenţa conjugală şi efectele ei asupra femeii victime [Articol]

    The present article touches upon the domestic violence and its effects on women-victims. There are presented general reactions outlined in the behavior of women-victims of intrafamily violence, as: fear, guilt, anger, shame, betrayal, mistrust, helplessness, doubt, shock, etc. Thus, assuming the destructive effects of violence on family members or the lack of identification of domestic violence as a social problem in the community, maintain and even strengthen the violent behavior.
