    In the article are related the actions that ensure the preservation of library collections, the focus being placed on the verification procedures of the collections. In Balti University Library annually audit are liable customary collections of reading and loan rooms, and other sections, according to a specific plan, such as the frequency of checks comply with the rules imposed by national instruction in force.

    Prezenta lucrare constitue o continuare a catalogului „Carte cu autograf şi dedicaţii” editat în anul 2010. Acest volum cuprinde cărţile cu autograf şi dedicaţii, pe care le - a primit ca donaţie BŞ USARB din anul 2010 pînă în prezent. Au fost incluse şi unele documente, care la momentul întocmirii primului catalog au fost omise din motiv că se aflau în circulaţie. Lucrarea se constituie într-o pledoarie dintre secretele trecutului şi urzelile prezentului, cei doi piloni ai relaţiilor dintre oamenii din trecut şi prezent. Textul dedicaţiilor reprezintă transcrierea însemnărilor manuscrise ale autorilor, donatorilor, persoanelor care au fost posesoare ale acestor cărţi.

    Scientific Library keeps rare collection of theological, moral and religious periodicals, mostly donated from Vasile Ioan Nicorici , inhabitant of mun. Balti. The donation amount 750 documents in 694 titles, including 86 periodicals in 8 titles. Through this work we aimed to achieve a description of religious and theological periodicals, which is of great scientific value both for students and teachers and for various researchers.

    This article includes information about the magazine ˶ Weat Grains” which brings together in its pages cultural history and literary articles, information about congresses, conferences, exhibitions, theatrical and musical seasons. Emanoil Bucuţa was founder and director of the magazine ˶ Weat Grains” between 1930-1935, sociological document of real informative value. Issues of this magazines from 1931 till 1934 are kept in Rare Periodical Collection of USARB Scientific Library.

The DOU collection has a double function of archiving and promotion, by supporting research and innovation.

Also, the Psychology magazine can be consulted at SL USARB since 1956.

    Ediţii de lux şi bibliofile din colecţia de patrimoniu a BŞ USARB [Articol]

    The work with the highest popularity among readers and made him famous before posterity Lazar Șăineanu was the ,,The Universal Dictionary of Ro-manian Language (1896), which reaches 120 years aſter the publication of the first edition in 2016. Considered the most popular lexicographical work in the history of Romanian linguistics has about 30,000 words and 80,000 definitions. This is the first attempt at cataloging and defining the Romanian lexicon. Also it is mentioned all editions of this grater lexicographical work published up to the prezent with reference to editions that are in collections USARB Scientific Library.

    Didactic-scientific heritage of USARB has been developped over the years, being the link of the connection between generations. The authors who contributed to the production of cultural and scientific heritage reserves a special place in the history of USARB and the national culture. Didactic-scientific heritage consists over 2 800 monographic works, materials of scientific conferences and symposia, dictionaries, guides, curricula, bibliographies, catalogues, bio-bibliographies, serial publications (magazines, yearbooks, newsletters), teaching materials, promotional materials, programs, and other documents.
