    This article deals with the problem of occupational stress of teachers. Literature review in the field allowed the authors to specify occupational stress paradigms and models to emphasize the most frequent factors which determine the occurrence of this phenomenon, identify typical causes and recommend effective strategies for the prevention of the occupational stress of teachers.
